• Meet Susan Packard Orr

Susan founded Telosa Software (formerly named the Technology Resource Assistance Center) in 1986 to provide computer consulting services and software exclusively to the nonprofit sector. She has spent a lifetime serving in leadership positions in the sector, including as chairman of the board of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation for over 20 years. She continues to serve on that board, as well as the Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health and the National Audubon Society. Her past board service includes Stanford University and Hewlett-Packard Company.

Susan has been an active fundraising volunteer, serving as campaign chair and on the campaign cabinet for numerous capital campaigns. This experience has given her great respect for the professional fundraisers who do so much to further the causes of their organizations.

Susan holds an M.S. in computer science from New Mexico Tech and an M.B.A. and B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Susan is an avid birder and chairs the global advisory group for BirdLife International. She loves to travel and find beautiful birds in every corner of the world. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband. They have two children and four grandchildren.
