    Strategic Grant Solutions (SGS) helps mid-sized nonprofits meet funding goals so program staff can focus on their programs and communities. After a 20-year career in diverse technology start-ups where she honed a versatile skill set, including persuasive writing, project management, and team building, SGS Founder, Lisa Wood, earned her certification as a grant writer in 2020 and created SGS in 2024.

    Lisa’s deep knowledge of the grant world and extensive experience across diverse nonprofit missions allow her to offer comprehensive services, including research, planning, writing, editing, and budgeting, to meet your organization’s needs. Lisa holds a Grant Writing: From Start to Funded certificate from Learn Grant Writing, a Grant Seeking Essentials certificate from NonprofitReady, and is a member of the Society for Nonprofitsand the Global Grant Writers Collective.
